Registration and Course Fees
IMPORTANT: Book all required course parts now (Basic Course Part 1 - 3). Each course part must be attended on a separate day. The order of the courses must be followed (STVA requirements).:
The entire course (all three course parts) must be paid before the course begins (even if not all course parts have been booked yet).

You live in Forch, Küsnacht, Zollikon, or another municipality around Lake Zurich? Our course location in Männedorf is the ideal starting point for the entire region. Many of our driving students come from Meilen, Stäfa, Uetikon am See, Oetwil am See, Forch, Herrliberg, Erlenbach, and Hombrechtikon.
Short commute, personal guidance, and a driving instructor who knows the roads of the region.
Requirements for the Motorcycle Basic Course
- A roadworthy and traffic-safe vehicle that matches your category
- Valid learner's permit (Lernfahrausweis)
- Riding ability requirement: You should be able to ride your motorcycle from Männedorf to Oetwil
- Maximum 5 participants per course
- The course takes place in any weather
- Electric motorcycles/scooters must have a range of at least 80 km
Course Language
The course is held in English. For german, please see here.
Clothing
At the driving test, you will only be admitted by the road traffic office if you wear motorcycle-specific safety gear.
We therefore recommend the following, already for the basic course:
- Approved safety helmet (with visor or goggles)
- Motorcycle boots or sturdy shoes that cover the ankles
- Motorcycle gloves *
- Motorcycle pants *
- Motorcycle jacket *
* Made of abrasion- and tear-resistant material, ideally with protectors.
Registration Info
Cancellation, no-show, or technical defects
- Free cancellation is possible up to 14 calendar days before the course start (the start of the first basic course part).
- For cancellations made less than 14 calendar days before the course start, the entire course fee (100%) is due.
- In case of non-attendance to the course or to an individual course part, the corresponding course fee will be charged in full. Additionally, an administrative fee of CHF 30.00 will be applied. The payment term is 10 days.
- The course start is defined as the first of a total of three basic course parts. If a participant does not attend the first course part or discontinues the course during training, all subsequent course parts will be automatically cancelled.
- If a participant has booked Basic Courses 1 to 3 and fails to attend one of these course parts, all subsequent course parts must be rebooked and paid in full. CHF 200.00 per course part. This also applies in the following cases:
- Technical defects or malfunctions
- Failure to meet the course objectives
- Illness, even with a medical certificate
- Accident, even with a medical certificate
- If all three basic course parts are not completed within the validity period of the learner's permit, all remaining course parts will expire without replacement. A refund, credit, or offset is excluded.
